Office Assistant – Part Time – Metro

Part-time hours 10am-2pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities to include:

  • Greeting visitors
  • Answering phones
  • Sorting and distributing mail
  • Photocopying documents
  • Data entry
  • Maintaining spreadsheets

Education requirements include:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Graduate of a recognised post-secondary institution an asset

Essential Skills and Qualifications for the position include:

  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Experience using Simply Accounting

Support Worker – Casual – Metro

4 hours per week in the Truro area assisting member with shopping, household tasks, outings, appointments, etc.

Averages 40.5 hours per week

Applicant must be able to push a wheelchair, support member (with transfer belt) and support members who require additional support to maintain balance or stability while walking with a walker.

Tuesday: 7am-10am, 1pm-8pm
Wednesday: 5pm-8pm. 10pm-8am (Night Sleep)
Saturday: 4pm-10pm
